Overview
International business covers all business transactions involving participants from two or more countries. It is a field of economics and management and concerns the special features of transnational business including movement of goods, services, capital, personnel, information and technology.
The programs in International Economics and Trade and Business Management will expose students to research findings and approaches relevant to the disciplines. They will also expose students to key issues relevant to the disciplines at international levels. They offer formal studies in the Chinese language & culture and general economics and management areas during the first two years, giving them a broad language and business grounding before proceeding to more specialist studies of the international business environment and the management of international businesses in the following years.
Totally 40 credits of intensive Chinese course are offered, including Chinese language, culture, religions, history, etc., which help students master the Chinese language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and understand the richness of Chinese culture, society and history.
The programs will be offered totally in English. Professors, faculty members and administrators communicate totally in English, and all teaching materials are provided in English.
Students come from various countries, which creates a multi-cultural community to help students make cross-national friends and potential business partners in future career.

The programs will provide you a thorough understanding of the workings of economy and business in China. Through professional training in the business disciplines, it will develop a capacity for logical analysis and the knowledge and skills required to do business with Chinese.
The programs will help you develop the practical skills employers are looking for, including strong analytical skills, high-level problem solving skills, the ability to communicate effectively with a business environment, and team-working skills.
