The Fudan International MBA Program was launched in 1996 through collaboration between the Fudan University School of Management and the MIT Sloan School of Management. The curriculum of the IMBA Program is jointly developed by the two schools, with the objective of cultivating business elites and future leaders with international perspectives and local insights through developing students’ systematic theoretical knowledge and comprehensive managerial skills. IMBA participants, completing all required courses and a thesis, meeting the requirements of the school, will be awarded MBA degree from Fudan University and a learning certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Pre-Term Courses With different educational and industrial background, MBA students specialize in various knowledge areas. Pre-Term Courses intend to provide a general education platform to help students adapt to the campus life after years of working in the companies. The pre-course session covers key MBA subjects including Accounting, Statistics, and Economics, etc. The whole session will be conducted by experienced professors from FDSM. The one-week pre-courses are usually scheduled at the end of August, right before the semester begins.

Summer Internships
IMBA students are encouraged to engage in summer internship at the end of their first year study. Summer internship provide students many opportunity to apply and practice the knowledge and skills which they learned in the first year study, thus to gain the latest industry information and operational practice.
From March to June each year, a number of renowned international companies will come to School of Management to recruit summer interns.
These companies come from all over mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Summer internship not only provides an opportunity for companies and Fudan MBA students to learn more about each other, moreover, many companies will provide employment opportunities for students after their graduation depending on their outstanding performance during the internship period.
