Civil engineering (CE) includes two majors: construction engineering and traffic civil engineering. These two majors both aim to cultivate advanced technical intellectuals who have a well-balanced knowledge structure, a solid background in Construction Engineering technology and a motivated desire for innovation. The civil engineering program is designed to enable the student, upon completion of the BS degree program, to enter the profession—for example, in industry, on a construction project, in a consulting engineering office, through a government agency. Equipped with a full set of technical skills, upon graduation you will be prepared for many different career opportunities, such as construction, structural design，education, management, and investment and development associated with the construction industry，while keeping in mind the social, moral, and legal impact of engineering on people.
