East China University of Political Science and Law

East China University of Political Science and Law is the first batch of higher political science and law colleges founded in China. It has a complete training system from bachelor's degree, master's degree to doctor's degree. It is the first batch of outstanding legal talent training base of the Ministry of Education and a key higher political science and law university affiliated to Shanghai. ECUPL has developed into a multidisciplinary teaching and research university with a focus on law, as well as coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as economics, management, and literature, and distinctive educational characteristics. The school currently has two campuses in Changning and Songjiang, covering an area of over 750000 square meters. It has 19 colleges and has the authority to confer doctoral and master's degrees in the first level discipline of law, as well as postdoctoral research stations. It also has the authority to confer master's degrees in the first level disciplines of political science, Marxist theory, public management, and applied economics. The school conducts talent cultivation and scientific research in 24 doctoral degree granting disciplines, 52 master's degree granting disciplines, and 26 undergraduate majors.

Eligibility

1. Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports, in good health with good conduct, and abide by laws and regulations of the school.

2. Applicants for master program shall have a bachelor's degree or above, applicants for doctoral program shall have a master's degree or above.

3. Applicant should hold English proficiency such as IELTS 6.0 or above, TOEFL 90 or above, or pass an English interview arranged by ECUPL.
