Northwest University (NWU) can trace its origins back to Shaanxi Imperial College and Peking Imperial College in 1902. Over the years, following its vision of "promoting the national spirit, integrating the ideas from around the world and shouldering responsibility of developing northwest China" and its motto of "Fairness, Integrity, Diligence and Simplicity", NWU has attracted a generou number of distinguished scholars, cultivated generations of talents, made a series of significant academic achievements and enjoyed high academic and social reputation. NWu has been honored as "the Mother of Chinese Petroleum Engineering", "the Cradle of Economists" and "the Cradle of Writers". Currently NWU about 2,740 members of faculty and staff, and a student population of over 250 thousand including 8100 graduate students and 1000 international students.

1. Foreign citizens with a valid ordinary passport, in good physical and mental health. 

2. Applicant should hold a bachelor degree or above, age under 40 years old for master program. 

3. Applicant should hold a master degree or above, age under 45 years old for doctoral program. 

4. Applicants from non-English speaking countries should submit proof of English language proficiency, at least TOEFL 80 or  IELTS 6.0.

First Batch: From January 1st to February 25th, 2025

Second Batch: From March 1st to May 30th, 2025

Fees

Tuition 

Bachelor CNY 22500/year; Master CNY 23000/year.

Doctoral Liberal Arts CNY 30000/year; Science and Engineering CNY 37500/year.

Accommodation 

CNY 3600 or 4000/year (triple room);

CNY 5500 or 6500/year (triple room).
