Changzhou University

Changzhou University originated from the two campuses of Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology in Wuxi and Changzhou in 1978 and as established as a full-time provincial university. The university has gone through many changes to its name and to its management system. The Institute was put unde the administration of Jiangsu Provincial Government and China Petrochemical Corporation in1984, and then under the sole administration of the Sinopec Group (formerly China Petrochemical Corporation) in 1992, with the new name of Jiangsu Institute of Petrochemical Technology. Since 2000, the Institute was sponsored by central and local governments, with Jiangsu Provincial Government acting as the chief executive administrator. In 2010, it was renamed Changzhou University with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizen with non-criminal record, in good health.
2. Applicants should be over 18 years old, hold a high school diploma.

From Febuary to June each year

Chinese lessons of listening, speaking reading and writing are provided to improve intercultural communicative competence. Normally the furation is 1 year.
