Xuzhou Medical University

Xuzhou Medical University, situated in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province is an institution of higher education under the direct administration of Jiangsu Provincial Government. Established in 1958, XZMU has now become the center of medical education, medical service and medical research in the north of Jiangsu Province. Since 2001, the college was consecutively ranked before fifty in comprehensive strength of national top medical colleges and universities. In 2005, XZMU successfully completed “Undergraduate Course Teaching Level Assessment by the Ministry of Education” with an “Excellence”. In 2005, XZMU began the education for international students. In 2013, XZMU is successfully authorized the right to grant doctoral degree.

1. Foreign citizens, physical and mental health, willing to abide by the laws and regulations of the Peoples Republic of China and the discipline and regulations of Xuzhou Medical University, respect Chinas social ethics and customs. 

2. Applicants for a 3-year MD or 6-year Phd should be under the age of 35 and have a relevant bachelors degree; Applicants for a 4-year Phd should be under the age of 40 and should have a relevant masters degree.

3. Professional Master's or Doctoral degree applicants must have HSK 4 certificate; Students who graduated with a bachelor's degree from Chinese-medium program, apply for Clinical Professional Master's degree must have HSK 5 certificate).

4. Academic Master's or Doctoral degree applicants have no HSK requirement, HSK Level 3 is required before graduation. Applicants must meet at least one of the English proficiency requirements: IELTS≥6.0/Native English speaker/English as the medium of instruction for previous educational stage/other valid evidence of equivalent English proficiency (Valid on and after June 15, 2025)/ pass the online interview by XZMU. Students who graduated with a bachelor's degree from Chinese medium program

5. Applicants must abide by the laws of China and the regulations of XZMU.

Tuition 

Master CNY 36000/year;

Doctoral CNY 40000/year.

Accommodation CNY 4800/year (double room).
