About NCWU

North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power (NCWU), with an area of 2,336 mu, has two campuses. NCWU is a university jointly supported by the Ministry of Water Resources and Henan Province, with Henan Province as the main management institution. It is one of the major universities intensively supported by Henan Province and the leading institution of Chinese universities in the BRICS Network University.

NCWU has a long history of international cooperation. Since 1958, it has begun to accept international students and assisted in the construction of Vietnam University of Water Resources and Hydropower. In recent years, NCWU has paid more attention to international cooperation and exchanges, implemented the strategy of activating NCWU by opening-up, and constantly improved the strength of school running and internationalization.

Undergraduate course tuition CNY 15000/year, duration 4 years
Postgraduate course tuition CNY 17000/year, duration 3 years
Accommodation CNY 3000/year

Qualification

1.Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, in good physical and mental health, abide by the laws and regulations of China. Age 18-35.
2.Undergraduate applicant should hold a high school diploma; Postgraduate applicant should hold a bachelor’s degree.
3.English-taught programs applicants need to submit English proficiency certificate like TOEFL or IELTS or the certificate of English instruction language (English native speakers are exempted).

Application Materials

1.Scan of original highest education diploma or original notarized diploma in English or Chinese. Scan of pre-graduation certificate is required if the applicants have not gained certificate.
2.Scan of notarized copy of transcripts in English or Chinese. 
3.Photocopy of applicant’s passport within the validity period. 
4.Foreigner physical examination form
5.English language proficiency.
6.Non criminal record certificate.
7.Other supporting documents required by university.

Scholarship

Henan Provincial Government Scholarship
Bachelor students: CNY 15000/year based on annual evaluation;
Master students: CNY 30000/year based on annual evaluation.
