A. Brief Introduction The Chemical Engineering and Pharmacy Major belongs to the first-grade subject of chemical engineering and technology which is a key subject set by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the second-grade subject of applied chemistry.
B. Objective This program include traditional directions, new directions set by the ministry of education, and interdisciplinary directions combining control science and technology, mechanical engineering and chemical engineering and technology. The program has four directions: chemical engineering and technology, pharmaceutical engineering, process equipment and control engineering and chemical energy engineering of which chemical engineering and technology is among the top universities in terms of comprehensive strength and international influence. The main subjects of the program are chemical engineering and technology and chemistry.
C. Career Prospect This program aims to cultivate high quality and versatile talents with solid chemical experiment operation skills, the latest knowledge of frontier development in chemistry, the spirit of innovation and challenge in scientific research, and the capability of adapting with societal development. After graduation, students can engage in production, research development, application and management in the field of fine chemicals.
D. Core Courses The core courses of this program include Calculus, Linear Algebra, Physics, Circuits and Electronic Technique, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Principle of Chemical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering and Technology.
E. Period of Program The period of the program is full-time four years (Flexible between 3-6 years)

G. Credit Required Student of the program should complete all courses required and scored 174 credits (95 credits from platform courses,63 from module courses, and 16 from optional courses) for bachelor degree.
