Harbin Engineering University (HEU) dates back to the PLA Military Engineering Institute founded in 1953. In 1970 its name changed to Harbin Shipbuilding Engineering Institute and then in 1994 to Harbin Engineering University. In the field of shipbuilding, ocean and nuclear engineering, HEU has significant advanced technology and technical background including underwater robots, ship stablization, marine power, integrated navigation, underwater acoustic positioning, nuclear power simulation and large ship simulation ranking highly both domestically and abroad. It has become one of the major fundamental and applied research bases for naval architecture, ocean engineering, marine equipment technology and development in China.

1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizen with non-criminal record, in good health.
2. Bachelor applicants should be at age 18-25 , hold a high school diploma; Master applicants should be  under 35 years old, hold a bachelor's degree; Doctoral applicants should be under 40 years old, hold a master's degree.

3.Bachelor and master applicants who are non-native English speakers shall submit TOEFL no less than 60 / IELTS score no less than 5.5; Doctoral applicants who are non-native English speakers shall submit TOEFL no less than 80 / IELTS score no less than 6.0; Or students shhould pass the English test organized by CZU.

Master&Doctoral Programs CNY 33000/year.

Accommodation 

CNY 800-1800 / month (single room type).

CNY 400-800 / month (double room type).
